This one-day workshop will provide participants the opportunity to hone their skills in auditing Microbiology Laboratories. Micro labs include bacteriology, virology, and mycology. The tests and techniques covered will include screening with molecular biology and confirmation with cultural methods to isolate and identify the microorganisms. The workshop will provide information on the many interrelationships the discipline includes and how to ensure we effectively audit all aspects of them.

Participants require access to a computer and a microphone in order to take this training. A headset with microphone is highly recommended. A webcam is recommended, but not required.
