Learn basics of uncertainty in analytical chemistry. Show laboratory managers, scientists and technicians how measurement uncertainty is handled in a chemistry laboratory.
Measurement uncertainty is explained and illustrated. Participants will see case studies and will learn how to use the required statistical tools in their laboratories.
Each course chapter describes different aspects of measurement uncertainty, provides definitions of terms used and outlines the main features of the relevant literature on uncertainty of measurement.
This is a one-day course that is split over two half-days.
Note: Participants need access to a computer with a microphone. A webcam is recommended, but not required.
After competing this course participants will be able to:

- Understand the contributions to uncertainty calculations
- Create an uncertainty budget
