4000V: Measurement Uncertainty (Analytical Chemistry) - October 21 to 22, 2019 - VIRTUAL
Date: October 21 to 22, 2019
Time: 11:30 am to 3:30 pm ET each day
Learn basics of uncertainty in analytical chemistry. Show laboratory managers, scientists and technicians how measurement uncertainty is handled in a chemistry laboratory.
Measurement uncertainty is explained and illustrated. Participants will see case studies and will learn how to use the required statistical tools in their laboratories.
Each course chapter describes different aspects of measurement uncertainty, provides definitions of terms used and outlines the main features of the relevant literature on uncertainty of measurement.
This is a one-day course that is split over two half-days.
Participants require access to a computer and a microphone in order to take this training. A headset with microphone is highly recommended. A webcam is recommended, but not required.
This is a virtual course.
Please note: Only 1 participant per registration.
Contact email@example.com (613-233-5300) for group training options.
After competing this course participants will be able to:
- Understand the requirements for measurement uncertainty
- Describe uncertainty concepts
- Understand the contributions to uncertainty calculations
- Create an uncertainty budget
